Well at least it hasn't been an entire month since my last post. I keep thinking of things to write about but then I'm too tired to do it. I need to just do it! We'll see how that goes.
So at the end of last month I went to Chicago for a family reunion with my dads side of the family. Had such a blast seeing my cousins and Aunts and Uncle. All families are crazy and I love my crazy family. We may not talk much or see each other often, but I know they will be there if I ever need anything and that's what I love about them. This reunion was a bit weird for me, as it was the first time I had been with my dads side of the family since he passed away. It really made me miss him. Being around his sisters and brother, really made me miss him because I was always waiting for him to chime in on something we were discussing or talking about. Anyways, I had a great time in Chicago and can't wait to see my crazy family again. I just hope next time around it's much sooner than last time.
So after my Chicago trip, the following weekend I went to Cedar Point with my first cousins (on my moms side) for the 4th of July. I think it was the first time that we've done something on our own without our parents around. I had such a fun time. I wish we did it more often. We stayed in one of those crazy awful hotels by the park, but all we did was sleep there so it wasn't that bad. I also discovered where I get some of my neurosis from....I'm not the only one in my family who is a bit special.
Below are some pictures from my Chicago trip...Enjoy

One last thing. Some of my good friends had their housewarming party a couple weekends ago. Their house is so gorgeous. I wish them nothing but the best. I promised my friends mom that I would post a picture of one of the super tasty sliders her son made. This ones for you Maggie!
